Our third annual Lavender Festvial is upon us, which means we’ll celebrate the queen of herbs in style as the gardens and tea room will be awash with purple and lilac!
From Saturday June 14th until Sunday June 29th at Cyherbia you can enjoy a lovely walk in the gardens, all lined with lavender and enjoy their intoxicating fragrance as you brush against the plants.
Bring your camera, you’ll definitely want to take pictures!

You can witness the extraction of lavender essential oil in our new distillation room, try out our home made lavender biscuits, liqueur, ice tea and even lavender ice cream.

The herb shop is fully stocked with our special organic lavender products and we’ll be hosting craft workshops with lavender as well.

The craft workshops dates and times are as follows:
Every day at 11 am and 3 pm: Lavender wand making. Lavender wands were traditionally made to scent clothes in wardrobes but they also look beautiful on display in the home. This workshop takes approx. 45 minutes and costs 7 euros, including all materials.

Leoni from Splash o’ Colour crafts will be with us to teach lavender crafts on Saturday afternoons from 2 till 5, Sundays from 10 till 5, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 until 5.
At Leoni’s table you can choose to make lavender ornaments or a set of 4 coasters with decoupage (see pic below)
All crafts are offered at special festival prices, varying from 6 to 8 euros.

On Saturday the 21st of June the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment mr. Nicos Kouyialis will officially open our new Distillation unit, at 11.30.

Throughout the duration of the festival Cyherbia will be open every day from 9 until 6.
We hope to welcome you there!
